M/s Om Industries is a family based company that got incorporated in the year 2001 under the bannership of Pitroda Group. The company was formed by Mr. Dilip Pitroda as an expansion project of one the associate entity of this Group, named as M/s Pitroda Machine Tools.

Mr. Dilip Pitroda is an industrial expert, who started his career playing a major role in the business development at both the above firms PUI & PMT (his partnership firms) from 1980 to 1999.

He honed his industrial skills by taking 3 years of very useful experience by working at M/s Accumax Pvt. Ltd., Rajkot as a Inspectio Engineer & thereafter with his hard work got promoted as a Tool Room Engineer that further exposed him to learn in depth technical specifications. To make himself more sepecialized in this stream, he also enhanced his working experience by pursuing a course -- DMF ( at M. S. Univerysity and acquired 2nd rank) at Baroda & PDIC (Technical Examinations Board Gujarat state-1st class) at Rajkot.

Then thereafter such a huge experience, he emerged in the business scenario and started manufacturing only "PRECIMAX" Centreless Grinding Machines under the company name M/s Pitroda Machine Tools. He started his 2nd firm M/s Om Industries in his expansion project in 2001.

At present, we give 5 years warranty for Grinding Wheel Spindle / Bush Bearings in our latest models -- PMT-150H, PMT-175H, PMT-200 & PMT-250.

Both the design have similar grinding results as quality & performance.
Except grinding wheel spindle/Bush Bearing's design everything is similar.
The grinding wheel spindle/Bush Bearings life is 15 to 20 years.
Powered Auto Lubrication system interlocked with spindle rotation
Double Lubricating oil filter Units incorporated in the lubrication system which increases probably 50% life of spindle/Bush Bearings & 20% life of lubricating oil. the reason is that the oil contaminants (which increases oil tempreture very high) fastly wears spindle/Bush Bearings resulting in increased temperature of oil which decrases oil's viscocity index.

1.The Design is very simple & maintenance free.

2.It is impossible to change setting of Bush Bearings by any operator of the machine

3.Setting of main grinding wheel spindle bush bearings is not requried during the whole life

4.When it's renovation is requried it is very easy & can be done easily at users end with our guidance

5.If the grinding wheelhead alongwith spindle/Bush Bearings Assembly can be sentto our works, we Can renovate it & send it back to you within 3 to 4 days.

6. In models150H & 175 H, Grinding Wheel Spindles are directly coupled with electric motors & their speeds are infinitely variable-(A very important concept which has not been adopted by any manufacturer in india till to-day)

which gives vibrationfree smooth rotation of spindle ensuring longer life of the spindle & bush bearing the reason is that there is no “v”belt 's tension & jerks on the spindle

7. This design is also available in our models PMT-200 & PMT-250 but Spindles are driven through 'V' belts/pulleys. Direct Drive Like 150 H/ 175H in this models is under our R & D.

8.Ele. Power Loss in rotation transmission is probably zero in models 150H & 175 H Hence actual ele. Motor H.P. used is fully effective in carrying cutting load

9.Machine with this design is cheaper & it's maintenance, too cheaper as well less time consuming.

1.The design is very complicated & maintenanceful.

2.If the operator want to disturb setting of the bush Bearings, he can easily do it.

3.Setting of main Bush bearings may be requried at any time depending upon reliability of locking arrangment done.

4 when it's renovation is requried it requires a specially experienced person or otherwise one has to send the complete unit at manufacturer's works

5 If the grinding wheelhead alongwith spindle/Bush Bearing Assembly can be sent to our works, we can renovate it & send it back to you within 15 to 20 days

6.It Is only available in our models PMT-200 & PMT-250

7.This design is not available in our models150H/175H as the same is under our R. & D.

8.ELe.Power loss in rotation transmission is considerably more because 'V' belts friction (due to slippage) consumes considerable H.P. Hence actual ele.motor H.P. used is not fully effective in carrying cutting load.
